I’ll wait for confirmation.”
Price moves.
“Okay, I’ll enter now.”
Price reverses.
Confirmation was apparently a luxury. 😂

🎯 Why Does My Stop Loss Always Get Hit Before the Main Move?
I used to think the #market was literally hunting my stop.
I’d analyze the #chart, enter a #trade, price would make a small move against me, hit my stop loss… and then move exactly where I predicted. 😐
🔴 But the real problem was that I was placing my stop where a lot of other traders were placing theirs.
When we have an obvious high or low, many traders make the same decision:
Above the high ⬅️ Sellers’ stop losses
Below the low ⬅️ Buyers’ stop losses
✔️ As a result, these areas can become liquidity pools.
The market may reach these zones before making the main move, triggering the orders sitting there.
🔼 That’s the part I was missing.
I used to focus only on my entry point. Now I also consider where other orders are likely to be sitting.
🛡 That’s why a short-term breakout doesn’t always mean a real break of structure.
Sometimes price moves beyond a level simply to take liquidity, then continues in the original direction.
🔥 The biggest lesson for me:
Getting stopped out doesn’t automatically mean my analysis was wrong.
Sometimes the direction was right—but the entry and stop placement were wrong.
You know you’re becoming a better trader when:
A losing trade annoys you less than breaking your own rules.
That’s progress.

📸 A $2,840 #Profit Screenshot. A Bad Decision?
Imagine someone sends you a screenshot:
💰 +$2,840
🔥 One #trade. One big profit.
🤔 Your first thought might be:
“Why didn’t I catch that trade?”
But let’s be honest: was that profit the result of a good decision—or just a good outcome?
💢 That’s where you need to separate the two:
Good decision ≠ Good outcome
A trader might enter with unreasonable risk, the market moves in their favor, and they end up making a huge profit.
Great result. Bad decision.
❌ On the other hand, a trader might enter with controlled risk and follow their plan perfectly—but still get stopped out.
Bad result. Good decision.
🧠 As a #trader, I don’t judge a trade only by its outcome.
First, I ask: If this trade had ended in a loss, would the decision still have made sense?
Then I look at how much risk I took relative to my total capital.
Finally, I ask whether this trade was based on a repeatable process or just a lucky outcome.
🔼 Because to me, a good trade isn’t just one that makes money.
It’s one where the decision behind it was good, too.
The market gives you 3 clean setups.
You ignore all of them.
Then you enter the fourth one because “this feels right.”
Classic. 🫠

🧠 RSI Divergence | When Price Lies!
📈 Sometimes the #chart says one thing, while #market momentum tells a completely different story.
Price makes a new high, but RSI fails to make a new high. This is where RSI divergence comes in — a tool that can show that the strength behind the price move isn’t what it used to be.
☄️ But first, what exactly is divergence?
Simply put, when the direction of price movement doesn’t align with the direction of RSI, we have a divergence.
There are two main types:
🔴 Bearish Divergence
Price >> Higher High
RSI >> Lower High
This means price still looks bullish, but buying momentum may be starting to weaken.
🟢 Bullish Divergence
Price ⚡️ Lower Low
RSI ⚡️ Higher Low
This means selling pressure may be losing strength, even if price is still making new lows.
⚠️ One important thing to remember:
Divergence on its own isn’t an entry signal. Think of it more as a warning that momentum may be weakening.
For better decision-making, also look at price action, structure breaks, support and resistance, or other confirmations within your trading strategy.
🎯 The key takeaway from this post:
Price isn’t always the first thing to change. Sometimes, the strength behind the move changes before price itself does.

📚 Lesson of the Day | ❓ What Was George Soros’ Secret?
📊 In 1992, European financial markets were going through a turbulent period. The UK was part of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) and was trying to keep the pound within a specific range. But pressure on the pound kept building.
George Soros and his team believed this situation couldn’t last forever.
🔽 Soros placed a massive bet on the #pound’s decline. The story is often simplified to: “Soros predicted the pound would fall and made billions.”
📌 But the most interesting part wasn’t simply the prediction. Soros knew he could be wrong.
He wasn’t going to stick with a #trade just because he had committed a huge amount of money to it. What mattered was his willingness to change his view if the market gave him new information.
✔️ Eventually, pressure on the pound became so intense that the UK government was forced to withdraw from the ERM, triggering a sharp decline in the currency. Soros made a huge profit from the trade, earning him the nickname “The Man Who Broke the Bank of England.”
🔔 The real lesson from Soros’ story is simple: before entering a trade, you should know what would prove you wrong.
Because once your money is in the market, it becomes much easier to get attached to your own analysis.

📊 Market Report | #WallStreet Close
U.S. stocks ended the week lower as a stronger-than-expected jobs report reshaped market expectations for the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate path.
☄️ The U.S. economy added 162,000 jobs in August, well above market expectations of around 55,000–56,000. The unemployment rate remained at 4.1%, while average hourly earnings rose 0.3% month over month.
🌐 The #market’s initial reaction to the data was far from positive. A stronger jobs report raised concerns about renewed inflationary pressure and the possibility of tighter monetary policy, pushing Treasury yields and the dollar higher. According to market pricing, the probability of a 25-basis-point rate hike in September rose to around 58%.
📉 At the close, the Dow Jones fell 0.51%, the S&P 500 dropped 0.38%, and the Nasdaq declined 0.29%. Meanwhile, the Russell 2000 gained around 0.2%.
📌 #Stock performance was mixed across sectors. Semiconductor stocks outperformed, with the group gaining around 3.4% overall. In contrast, Lululemon plunged 17.4% after cutting its outlook, while Adobe fell around 6.7%.
