Getting back to writing for a bit. One of my motivations is to put together thoughts and process and try to make months of messy experimentation seem purposeful and not a huge procrastination.

I also tried the new Kala Paint out the other day. Krita wins for me (early days alpha state software and some bugs and tablet pen UI issues in Kala) over this but the blob lasso tool is a nice feature. It is great that the digital painting scene is getting some fresh innovation.

Built a really dope digital painting app

I made my newest site mascot using Krita by hand drawing and painting all the layered sprites and then I animated it using Moho 14.

The admin settings for the mascot is functional and keeps to core WordPress functions. I had to do research for this, I use Proton Lumo with a Human in the Loop markdown system I developed. I don't use other AI things and it helped me learn how to set up PHPStan and other linting

This is what my site mascot began life as. When I worked out the bugs and it bounced successfully for the first time it felt like I had created life. I've been developing it over 7 months as a way to learn more coding.
