I am really happy to share the launch of my new book, “Psychology Admission Interview.”

❤️ This book is dedicated to all my teachers and mentors who supported me during my foundation years and who continue to guide me even today.

A lot of what I teach today comes from the lessons, values and guidance I received from them over the years.

And to all my students who kept asking me, “Sir, when are you writing a book to help students prepare for Psychology admission interviews?”

Well, your complaint has finally been resolved. 😄

I sincerely hope Psychology Admission Interview helps students prepare with better clarity, confidence and understanding as they take an important step forward in their psychology journey.

⚠️ NTA has announced that the UGC NET JRF exams for Sociology, Commerce, and English will be reconducted due to errors.
Nothing has been announced for Psychology so far.
At this point, NTA’s credibility is seriously under question. Exam errors, uncertainty, delayed decisions, and lack of clear communication may look like administrative issues on paper, but students are the ones who pay the price. There can be a perspective that NTA recognized issue and taken action but
❗️Every error has a cost, and unfortunately, that cost is usually paid by students.

🚨 BREAKING: Joint Entrance Examination for Post Graduate Medical & Allied Sciences calls students for interview even when they have not participated in the Written Exam.

Maybe from now onward, the eligibility criteria for Clinical Psychology course at the Institute of Psychiatry (IOP) will be:
"Are you available for an interview?" 😌

Dear institutions, students don't expect miracles.
They just expect a process that makes sense.

It’s strange! When filling out forms, my wife can choose to mention my name as her husband's name in official forms. But I don't have the option to mention her name as my wife's name. 🤥

If you're appearing for the CUET PG Psychology exam, pause for a second.

If Freud shows up in the paper… just remember he had theories about everything, so you probably studied at least one of them. 😄

➡️ If you forget a concept, don't panic. Your brain is just demonstrating a real-life example of retrieval failure.
➡️ If anxiety appears, observe it like a psychology student and mentally note: “Interesting emotional response. Will analyse later.”

Jokes apart, you’ve studied, revised, stressed, and survived the preparation phase. That already says a lot.
Now go into the exam hall with a calm mind, a little confidence, and maybe a tiny prayer that the questions are kinder than the syllabus. 😊

Punjab announced 343 jobs for psychologists. People studied, gave exams, filled out forms, and made plans. And then the government said, “Actually nah, let’s outsource.”

That’s it. No closure. 🤨
The irony is wild. These friends were literally applying for jobs to help people cope with addiction, anxiety, and chaos… and then the system threw them straight into an anxiety arc of their own.
Meanwhile, every conference, panel, and LinkedIn post is screaming “mental health awareness.” Cool. Love that. But awareness without actual hiring is just motivational quotes with no budget.
This whole thing feels like ordering a therapist on Swippy and getting a “Sorry, restaurant not accepting orders right now.”

I recently attended a family function hosted by one of my colleagues, and it was such a joy to be part of their celebration. Spending time with their family reminded me that the success of your venture and yourself is also defined by how the lowest-level of employee is doing in their life. It's not a matter of pride; it's our responsibility to be with all those who supported you in your journey.

When someone in a junior role can support their family, celebrate their moments, and live with dignity and confidence, it speaks volumes about the environment we’re creating.

Received the most heartbreaking news, Prof. J.P. Das is no more.
The man who gave us the PASS Model, who carried humility beyond words.
To me, he was family, mentor, and light.
