Starship Flight 13 is the most important flight for SpaceX thus far.
SpaceX is targeting July 16 for the second V3 Starship flight, which will be powered by 33 Raptor 3 engines and designed for more payload, faster reuse, and eventually for the Moon and Mars.
However, the BIG story is Starlink V3.
For the first time, Starship is expected to deploy 20 next-gen Starlink V3 satellites. If you don’t know, each satellite is designed to deliver 10×+ the capacity of V2 Mini, while a full Starship launch could add 20×+ the network capacity of a Falcon 9 launch.
That’s super wild…
Flight 13 will also test an in-space Raptor relight, controlled reentry, heat shield upgrades, and critical improvements to the booster.
The SpaceX team never stops improving Starship. Every launch, every test, every failure, and every success makes the vehicle better. And if SpaceX nails Flight 13, humanity will take another step closer to becoming a multiplanetary species.
I can’t wait to watch the launch! 🚀
The path to launch is filled with obstacles and success is only possible through the tireless efforts of many working together towards a common goal. “Critical Path” continues the ongoing Starship series, following SpaceX engineers through the final days before launch of the first Starship V3 and the challenges that come with development of the world’s most powerful and fully reusable rocket.
Max Space, a space habitat company, announced it was selected for NASA funding to accelerate development of its expandable lunar habitat technology.
“Our goal is direct and urgent: place a U.S. flag-bearing expandable habitat on the Moon in 2028."

🌌 A giant among giants: S5 0014+81 versus the Solar System
The black hole S5 0014+81 is a monster with a mass 40 billion times that of our Sun. If our Milky Way were placed in its vicinity, it would appear insignificant. The diameter of the region occupied by our Solar System (including the Oort cloud) is merely a fraction of a percent of the size of this supermassive black hole's accretion disk.

He now holds over $397 billion in cash.
The last time Buffett held this much cash was in 2007–2008, just before the Great Recession.
