@wkoszek@t_blom Lots of people have lots of ideas. Why would they (Tesla and others) sell these self- during robots to you, other than doing their own “ideas”? Your ideas only work when they can’t do it on their own.
@pmarca Which also means a potential AI bubble is likely. How likely TBD.
But if that materializes, many high-flying stocks will be AI version of Webvan, pets..com, some Cisoco, yahoo, a few Amazon, Nvidia, Apple, MSFT, etc
@pmarca Let’s go further: life doesn’t have to have meaning - some people, some of the time, to live a meaningless life is a way of living. And everybody should do at least once.
"Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless."
@StockMKTNewz Very true. Ordinary Chinese spend large amount of time and energy in 吃。Above all, businessmen often engage in important business talks over the dinner table.
@pmarca Would be really concerning that such a neat looking chart is factually based, and further concerning a causation could be stablished.
In other words, a case of low effort of lying with statistics.
"They cannot compete in urban and suburban against the terrestrial network. And by the way, that’s where like 95% plus of the revenues are"
Of course, because you barely have any service in rural areas.
Absurd. Majority ideas of majority people have nothing to do with software, in broad sense, which is the domain of the current AI.
For example, Elon has the idea of colonizing Mars/humans being multiplanetary species, or Moon base. You think this is an idea AI can take care of, maybe ever?
BTW, vast majority of ideas are just random aggregates of every physical and non-physical things around that person at that moment, nothing more. A tiny fraction of these are worth or can be “done”, whatever that means.
Anyone who genuinely believes Tesla or any American company would have a meaningful robotaxi market share in China needs to have their brains checked.
Ditto humanoids, and many other things, exhibit 1: Starlink
Particularly when US forcefully engages China as the #1 adversary of a new Cold War.
