If you’re someone who always sees the good in ppl, you’ll become a magnet for the broken. You can’t out nurture someone’s refusal to grow. When your worth is tied to how useful you are to their healing, you forget your own.
It seems obvious but it’s not, so I’ll say it: The person who made you feel unlovable isn’t worth loving. They’re not your soulmate or the love of your life. They lost their chance at loving you or being loved by you when they consistently took you for granted. Remember that.
I CAN’T WAIT to experience love without trust issues, commitment issues, 3rd party situations, lack of integrity, sneaky link ups behind my back, and not having to beg to be loved, treated right, heard, seen, reciprocation is mutual, and i’m loved correctly the first time around
Love isn’t enough for me anymore. I need you to respect me. I need you to support me. I need you to reassure me. I need to know you won’t give up on me. I need you to value me. I need you to be gentle with me. I need to feel safe with you so I can be the softest version of me.
stop texting first. stop justifying their behavior. stop giving second chances to people who didn’t even notice the first one. they know what they’re doing. and you deserve better.
i cannot fuck with people who, when they’re mad they say extremely hurtful things but when they calm down they want to backtrack and say they didn't mean it. YES, YOU DID. STAND ON IT.
