It’s left out of tutorials coz there’s nothing to teach there. It’s JUST feeling. But it’s soooo important and magical.

It’s also one of the dangers of being too visual on a DAW - u can end up looking at the waveform too much rather than just listening to the feeling.

Now that we’re in the producer tutorial era, there’s sooo much that is said about getting a certain swing or pocket in your programming

But what’s left out is how you let the sample itself fall into a pocket. Even a simple loop, no chops, there’s such an art to where it lands..
