idk how @attentioninc did that but i just asked claude something like "bro i need <random set of words> i saw like ~1 month ago, can you find it>" and it found
jfyi, perplexity of <random set of words> was roughly approaching to the vocab size, so it was pretty hard to understand
Folks, it finally happened.
I had a vague memory of a Reddit comment I saw a few days ago, and wanted to find it.
Both Reddit and Google search didn't work - BUT an AI agent that records my screen (@attentioninc) found it in seconds.
The future is here!
Everyone says the AI bottleneck is model intelligence.
It's not. It's context.
Models can't automate what they can't see.
Always on screen recording is a missing layer that is very valuable, and a step beyond products like Granola or Firefliers.
That's the unlock.
Two companies building here @attentioninc@screenpipe
best macapps I have ever used -
1. @vorssaint - swiss army knife
2. Tinycast by @abue_ammar - raycast but without any telemetry
3. Coast Local by @attentioninc - always on screen rec (great to recall anything)
4. Dayflow by @jerryliu - automatic screentime journal
why I hear of no one using Coast by @attentioninc ?
it basically records everything you are doing on your computer, completely locally and with low memory usage, so you can use it as context for your agents.
immense value
anyone using it here?
I think coast from @attentioninc changed my way of working
It’s pretty simple (in terms of ux and functionality) piece of software and it actually pretty helpful for ADHD, since I don’t even need to think about journaling
Love https://t.co/RZzkvwpq99 and @attentioninc the personal context capture for Codex is incredible. Would be even better if it could turn screenshot context into knowledge graphs across your files and apps.
oh my god @attentioninc@aidangch. I try way too much new software. several things about coast's onboarding that absolutely blew me away. I almost never react but I audibly gasped
been waiting for a tool like this which also has a cli, so I can learn faster. incredibly excited
@attentioninc Super excited to use this ever since Meta gobbled up RewindAI/Limitless.
Feature request: please support folks like me that have two (large) monitors! Will write back in a few weeks with deeper feedback. cc @aidangch
Codex started automatically using @attentioninc coast 🌊-> it is actually also super helpful for bug-fixing & troubleshooting
the history gives so much more added context!
tx for building this @julianwindeck@aidangch
