@A1an_M Shopping & cooking healthily does not need to be difficult, expensive or time consuming. Whole foods, meal plan in advance , batch cook & freeze.. It's just easier to rely on processed food let's be honest
@Jojo01167846981@TyT98377@janiehere2 Not ultra processed, sugar & seed oil laden bread, it's barely bread.. Bread is flour, yeast, salt & water..it's not the 30 ingredient muck for sale on supermarket shelves
10 effin hrs in A&E with my 85 yr old father to be sent home with antibiotics for a UTI... That's a GP's job, remember them? Nah, me neither... They sent him to A&E cos they couldn't give him an appointment... Or they couldn't be arsed dealing with him more to the point
@McCallaPE They're doing GP's work.. You can't get a GP appointment for love nor money they just send people straight to emergency for things that clearly aren't emergencies
Staff also dealing with an A&E full of Police trying to restrain & calm drunk/high patients pulling cannulas out & going on the run.. It's not fair on anyone
The majority don't want or need to be an in A&E... They've been told to go there..they trust their invisible, unavailable GPs
The stress this puts on people who are already vulnerable & afraid, their families & staff is intense
This has to stop, GP's need to step up.. Family member sent home with antibiotics for a UTI...... WTF.. That's a GP diagnosis, not something that needs to clog up A&E
2. All I spoke to had been sent to A&E by their GP.. 6 from my family members practice alone. All sent for bloods & ECG's..
These can be done in a GP practice.

Why are GP's sending patients to A&E for bloods & ECG's?
1.I've just spent 10 hrs there with a family member who couldn't get a GP appointment but saw the practice nurse.. Straight to A&E
I'm very nosey & had hrs to chat to others....
@PabloDoesX @rincewindrunnin@Jojosdojo Really not true.. An ICE vehicle isn't valued purely on mileage.. Service history is valuable, proper service history.. 100k miles on one care with no service history is very different to 100k miles with full history.
Ev's will throw up their own problems
@PabloDoesX @rincewindrunnin@Jojosdojo Bangernomics will continue to work for me.. I'm not in a position to buy an EV with leasing & tax advantages & even if I was I wouldn't. Gimme old Skodas & Subaru Impreza s all day long ๐
@rincewindrunnin @PabloDoesX @Jojosdojo I have 2 cars actually a van & a car.. Car has 128000 miles on the clock.. Van has 140k..both 2 ltr deisel.. ยฃ10k combined cost for both.. Regular maintaince & fuel.. Will sell to a breaker when they're still worth their parts.. Tried & tested
@rincewindrunnin @PabloDoesX @Jojosdojo It really doesn't.. The residual value on a 20 year old old well looked after car was good.. Outside of normal maintenance & fuel that car cost me ยฃ840 for 7 years driving.. The parts are then passed onto the next driver.. It's as green as it gets ๐
@rincewindrunnin @PabloDoesX @Jojosdojo That's what I'm referring to..The initial outlay on a new EV is huge & there really isn't a proper resale market yet. The vast majority of Ice vehicles are still value for money twenty years later. We know all the breaker yards for parts, we know how to fix them cheaply
@esjesjesj Don't forget Word Champion Veronica Ivy.. This isn't restricted to the Olympics it's across ALL sport.. Kate Weatherly NZ national champion downhill mountain biking. Michelle Dumaresq Canadian national champ.
