All available Austin Energy crews are responding to outages following severe weather that brought heavy rain, lightning, and high winds across our service area. There are currently multiple outages affecting customers across the city.
Crews will continue restoration efforts throughout the night. We restore power by prioritizing repairs that bring the greatest number of customers back online first, then addressing smaller and more complex outages.
Many remaining outages involve small, complex repairs that can take longer to restore. Thank you for your patience as crews work safely and as quickly as possible.
