Mike Vrabel telling reporters he needs to step away from team business on Saturday because his family needs him. As for communication with the #Patriots while he’s away: “Whatever they need, I’m going to provide.”
@james_ebo That’s awesome. I’ve actually done some research over the years about how I could one day leverage my military background for some organizations who do a lot of outreach with active duty/veterans, etc. Had some discussions with a few folks who worked for Chargers, Commanders, etc
@james_ebo I’ve always wanted to pivot to the sports industry after I finish my military service. Probably get a Masters in Sports Business Management in the coming years. From your POV, what was most important to getting your foot in the door with so many applicants?
An interesting look at Daniel Jeremiah’s Mock Draft 3.0 hit rate over the years. Fairly spot on when it comes to position/offensive focus but also show the difficulty in projecting the actual player.
@Tljefferson23 Had some issues with the gleam link. I’d follow & wouldn’t give credit. Either way, supporting across the various platforms… fingers crossed on this end 🔥🙏🏼
Pumped to have you back this year bro!

Sources: The #Chargers are re-signing S Tony Jefferson to a 1-year, $2M deal.
A locker room favorite, Jefferson posted career-highs in INTs (4) and passes defensed (7) in 13 games last season — and now he’s back with the Bolts.
@StevenIHaglund It’s incredibly frustrating, this regime has left Herbert out to dry. Bozeman was strike 1, this offseason is arguably strike 2 with them bringing in Strange (impacted comp pick formula) & Pipkins / Penning back. There were better options with the cap space they had/have.
In a vacuum, a ravens descendent GM pairing up with a Shanahan disciple OC and not spending free agent resources at guard is not surprising. The problem is this is a results based business and the Chargers interior offensive line is the primary reason they have been one and done in playoffs the last two years.
Biadasz + the new scheme will likely result in better play overall but they definitely missed out on a real chance to nuke the problem this offseason and even let guys who wouldn’t count against the comp pick formula pass them by… Tough to keep giving the benefit of the doubt to a regime that has yet to deliver on any of their promises to fix the OL.
Chargers had a direct connection to Elgton Jenkins, schematic overlap, very clear need at the position, no comp pick formula impact. Checked every box and according to Jeremey Fowler they weren’t even a team in consideration. Just inexcusable.
