We have a Humanities crisis in India.
But offensiveness from STEM or defensiveness from Humanities will not solve the problem.
We do need a rooted high-quality Humanities stream in India.
I'd written an article on this subject. Link in the tweet below.
The sheer superiority complex of some STEM folks is astonishing.
It only exposes how limited their worldview is. Maybe read some social sciences sometime sociology, psychology, economics, political science, history, anthropology, geography, philosophy.
You might then realise how much of what you confidently say is utter nonsense.

#InfiniteIndia | What could be smaller than ₹1? In ancient India, the answer was the “phooti kaudi”, a broken cowrie shell.
Long before coins and banknotes, cowrie shells were widely used for transactions. They were durable, portable, naturally uniform and readily available. Three phooti kaudis made one complete cowrie.
