On the Six One News Minister McEntee spoke about being horrified at the treatment of Irish citizens and called for sanctions on Israel.
Two hours later she voted against sanctions on Israel.
Enough said.
Irish women are being humiliated and dragged to the ground by Israeli terrorists.
Yet, the government is okay with being one of Israel's top trading partners, allowing the dispatch of weapons to Israel through its airspace, and having soft ties with a genocidal regime.
This makes for awful reading. Another hospital with a toxic culture and the patients being the ones that end up suffering as a result. Fair play to the whistleblower, I truly hope things have changed there.
Addressing some of the comments and questions I’ve seen this morning in relation to the Statutory Public Inquiry. Also just to say a massive thank you to @SBH_PAG and @scolionetwork for their tireless and unrelenting advocacy for our children and all the opposition parties that have amplified our voices and helped us in our fight ❤️#JusticeForHarvey #StatutoryInquirySecured #NoChildWaiting
As Founder of Whistleblowers Ireland, I want to sincerely thank Senator Dr. Tom Clonan @TomClonan for inviting our group to the Dáil last night to mark World Whistleblowers Day 2025.
It was the first time many of us met in person — a rare moment of recognition in a country where, sadly, too many politicians only listen after a whistleblower goes to the media.
Thank you to the incredible staff in the Members’ Restaurant for their kindness and welcome. And thank you, Tom, for your courage, your integrity, and your unwavering support for those who speak truth to power.
Whistleblowers are workers of conscience. We deserve to be heard before crisis hits — not after.

Harvey was never declared palliative he was declared fit for spinal surgery @CHI_Ireland are blocking HSE access to his file & others, the inquiry pending into CHI must be nothing short of a statutory anything less is a complete slap In the face to families @CarrollJennifer
Shocking to read this.
More questions and heartbreak for Gillian and Steven as they search for the truth around Harvey’s care.
Nothing short of a statutory enquiry will do now as it appears it will be the only way to compel people to tell the thruth.

It’s really getting farcical at this stage.
We have Government TDs screaming blue murders about the lack of respite for our disability community.
We have come to the conclusion now that it’s obviously pointless engaging with our elected reps on the issues we face as they have no control over fixing those issues so we kindly ask, who do we need to engage with so we can begin to see change for the better?

Facing a miserable evening in Dublin and to think the four survivors of residential abuse continue their Hunger Strike outside the Dáil.
Neither the Taoiseach @MichealMartinTD nor the Tanaiste @SimonHarrisTD could sort that issue out all week - says it all about them. I genuinely hope the health & well-being of these courageous people holds up, because the government will be held responsible if it doesn't.
I’ve always had serious concerns about the Section 38 and 39 Voluntary Organisations — each with their own Boards, Management structures, and HR departments.
It’s an enormous duplication of public funds and resources. The HSE and the Department of Health must ensure real accountability and oversight. Too often, governance and pay disparities can be hidden behind the “voluntary” label — while taxpayers foot the bill.
It takes real courage to challenge that system, and I want to thank Minister @CarrollJennifer for her bravery in tackling this long-ignored issue.

Some nursing homes charge €30 per week for "pastoral care" whether a person wants or receives it.
Some nursing homes charge €35 to €80 for activities even for residents who can't or don't want to participate. This is on top of the #FairDeal contribution.

Isn't it funny how none of the ministers calling for "a debate" all week will actually debate it?
Don't fall for their mass distraction tactics, dog whistling to try and distract from government policy that's created the housing, healthcare, and cost of living crises we face.
