One of my first interactions with anyone from the community btw
I didn't even feel safe enough to tell anyone until long after. Even if incidents like these aren't known they are commonplace and often go under the radar, and are in large part what makes a lot of women leave.

being a woman in comp splatoon community is the worst thing imaginable and feels like it’s worse than death sometimes. so much harassment that we face and yet all of it gets pushed aside because the scene is supposedly super “welcoming.” why doesn’t it ever feel like it?
