APU has received a $312,500 grant from HCAI to train BSW students to become Certified Wellness Coaches. Embedded directly into existing BSW coursework with no extra cost or added time, this pathway prepares students to address critical youth behavioral health needs in schools.

In an era where dozens of universities have cut football, APU and Whittier represent a rare turnaround: they are the only two California universities to add or restore NCAA DIII football since 1994, making their inaugural matchup a compelling story for West Coast college sports.
