CJI said Gurugram's courts are burdened with over 24,000 civil disputes, around 1,000 commercial disputes and more than one lakh Negotiable Instruments Act cases. He said the new court complex, equipped with facilities including an International Arbitration Centre under the High Court's supervision, video conferencing, a ladies' bar room and a crèche, is aimed at making access to justice more effective and inclusive.

SCAORA condemns abusive conduct by litigant in Supreme Court
The Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association has passed a resolution condemning the recent incident in which a litigant appearing in person allegedly used abusive language, made disrespectful remarks and engaged in inappropriate conduct during proceedings before the Supreme Court.
SCAORA said the court's patience and restraint should not be mistaken for a lack of authority, warned against attempts to misuse judicial proceedings through grandstanding or publicity, and urged appropriate legal action to uphold the dignity of the institution.#SupremeCourt
