"Journey to the Center" has long been a community favorite in the Bassnectar world, and is one of the most requested songs for live sets from the entire discography. We're highlighting it today as part of the Greatest Hits voting campaign, running now through the end of next week. This track was released 10 years ago this week, and the special live visual was created by teaming up with Sebastian and Black Lake Media members Matt Cummer and Nick Grimshaw to create a one-of-a-kind visual piece for the song's live performances. Sebastian created the still composition as a layered resin piece, and Black Lake ‘brought it to life’ as a digital creation, meticulously animating each element layer by layer, and timing each element perfectly to the beat of the song.
