We are honoured to share that PaRx was recently awarded the 2025 @DoctorsOfBC Excellence in Health Promotion Award!
So far, more than 20,000 healthcare providers have improved Canadians’ health by issuing an estimated 1.5 million prescriptions for time in nature. 🌲
PaRx has partnered with the Victoria Butterfly Gardens to expand access to nature-based healing.
Starting today, PaRx patients can access two admission offers: 50% off admission for one PaRx prescription holder, or buy one, get one free admission for a PaRx holder and a guest.
BC Parks Foundation was happy to contribute $200,000 toward this acquisition, recognizing how important parks and natural spaces are for the well-being of people and wildlife. This support was made possible alongside contributions from Columbia Basin Trust and the RDCK.
BC Parks Foundation is celebrating the Regional District of Central Kootenay’s (@RDofCK)purchase of a beautiful 4.4-acre riverfront property along the Goat River, an important step toward creating a new regional park in the Creston Valley! 🌲
The newly protected property sits in a peaceful, tree-lined stretch of the valley where people have gathered for generations. Securing it ensures that the community can once again spend time in nature.
