Breanna Borchers competed in Say Yes to FCS and is a National Qualifier. This event compares college FCS Education programs across the NE. She was able to research, observe, interview, and create a presentation informing others on the college possibilities. Nice job Breanna!

The October FCCLA Member of the month is Emily Kalvelage. Emily has been a great addition to our chapter attending all meetings, helping at trunk r treat, running the Pink Out Booth, and asking many pink out basket sponsors. Congratulations to Emily!
17 Students attended the District Leadership Conference in Norfolk. The Knowledge Bowl team went undefeated and won the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP! Throughout the day the members listened to speakers on leadership skills, learned more about FCCLA opportunities and met other chapters!
Students at the event heard from members of the Nebraska FCCLA State Officer Team, the State Peer Officer Team, and Ashley Brinton, the 2021 National FCCLA Alumni Achievement Award winner to begin the day of learning.
FCCLA Members Attend Fall Leadership Workshop
Four students from Battle Creek High School recently attended the Nebraska Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America Fall Leadership Workshop in Kearney. This annual event was held on Monday, September 20, 2021.
With over 600 student members and chapter advisers registered for the conference. The state theme for this year is ‘Endless Opportunities,’ which encourages members to discover all aspects of FCCLA to further their opportunities.
