Today, our seniors gathered to flip through pages filled with memories, friendships, accomplishments, and moments that helped define their Wildcat high school journey.

There’s something bittersweet about watching students relive four years in a matter of minutes. Soon they’ll walk across the graduation stage, but the memories they’ve created as Wildcats will last a lifetime.

Nearly 60 interns. Countless futures.

Today we celebrated nearly 60 Becton Wildcats completing our Career Exploration Internship Program, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare, medicine, nursing, law, business, finance, engineering, technology, education, media, architecture, public service, veterinary science, culinary arts, and many other career fields.

More than 10 years ago, this program started with just a handful of students. I still remember the trustee that said
"high school interns, are you crazy?!"

YES, I AM! Today, it has become one of the most transformative opportunities a high school can offer.

Students don't just learn about careers, they experience them. They work alongside professionals, build confidence, develop workplace skills, make meaningful connections, and gain clarity about their future before investing years and thousands of dollars pursuing a path.

At @BectonHS, we believe the best way to prepare students for the future is to let them live it now.

Congratulations to our interns, staft, mentors,, community partners and phenomenal coordinator, Ms. Gina Annitti, who continue making this incredible program possible.
