Though she once planned to skip college, God led her to BJU, where she’s found lasting friendships, incredible learning opportunities, and doors she never imagined.
Caitie has served as society VP and dorm group leader, and interned with a Kentucky police force, gaining hands-on experience in public safety.

Meet Gloria English ✈️
A senior Criminal Justice major with a Psychology minor, Gloria is passionate about both law enforcement and aviation. She was encouraged to come to BJU by her parents, who met here and have served as missionaries in Mexico ever since. During her time at BJU, she earned her pilot’s license and shared,
“Through this challenge, I learned to work hard, face feelings of inadequacy and fears of failure, and trust in people to help and mentor me.” 💙

Grad Student Spotlight: Asher Chok
MA in Apologetics | BS Physics | 2nd-Year Grad Student

This summer, Asher got the opportunity to intern with Blue Letter Bible, where he helped develop new features for their iPhone/iPad app to modernize the Bible translation page and build a new audio player for commentaries and devotionals.

He says, “What really shaped me was seeing how the BLB team approached their work with such intentionality and stewardship. Every decision considered the user experience, even thinking about people using older iPhones, not just chasing the newest technology.”
