My dad went in today for a colonoscopy and he's never had one, he's 81. He's been really off for 1.5 years and refused to go in...but they found a large lump in his colon, too big to remove. What are the chances it is cancer...and how long does someone his age survive? I'm retiring PTDY starts mid April!! I can't believe this is happening...heading to see him this 4 day. His biopsy comes back Thur...what treatment or surgery can he get to fix it if it isn't cancer and what happens IF it is cancer?
