Going net zero & strengthening Europe’s industrial base is the goal. Europe needs a diverse energy plan that speeds up the transition and keeps power stable & affordable. Renewables need firm, flexible capacity – & until grids are integrated, remain tech‑open incl. SMRs.
4/5
Europe has top unis, research institutions, innovative firms, & deep capital markets. But it lacks alignment. To stay competitive, Europe must scale cleantech quickly and set clear rules for breakthrough tech like AI & fusion. Unity across member states is key.
3/5
The future prosperity of Europe depends on meeting rising energy demand while lowering costs, protecting critical infrastructure, and securing access to critical raw materials & strategic technologies. Energy security and competitiveness now go hand in hand.

Instead of generalizing, we need to be granular. We should focus on what has worked, where gov., IFIs, private sector & multi-stakeholder platforms have delivered. These examples exist, and they matter.
The task is not to abandon cooperation.
