This week, we explored different types of rocks! 🪨 Using hand lenses, we examined their colours, textures and features - and even learned their names! 🔍

Today we read ‘The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!’ and then took part in a hot seating activity. We stepped into the role of the wolf and asked him lots of interesting questions. 🐺 We showed fantastic imagination and drama skills! 🎭

In Class 3, we celebrated Batley Parish’s Values Day by focusing on Community. ❤️ 🏠 We made creative representations of our homes and loved having our parents join in the fun! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒✨Working together makes our community stronger!

Thank you to the astounding amount of parents who came to support us in our art printing afternoon. We started off the afternoon getting inspiration and creating observational drawings of bugs 🪲🐛🐞

Class 3 has been busy making savoury tarts this morning. Our classroom smells wonderful! We are so excited to evaluate them this afternoon! Yum!!🌱🫑🧈
