Update 1.1.0.0 in #EscapefromTarkov will introduce a variety of QoL improvements across several game systems.

Notable changes will improve the availability of equipment in the early stages of progression. Many entry-level ammo types will become available much earlier. For example, 7.62x39 T-45M1 will be purchasable from Prapor right from the start of the game.

The character level requirements for earlier trader LLs will be reduced, and the total trade volume requirement will be removed entirely.

The early Hideout development is also being streamlined, with construction times for the initial modules getting reduced. Also, there will be less dependencies on other modules and “Found in Raid” items.

As we've previously mentioned, insurance will be unavailable in Kord Breach season, but it will become more convenient in PvP and PvE Zone. Insured items will be returned more quickly, though the cost will increase slightly. In addition, Jaeger will now offer his own insurance service. While significantly more expensive, it will return lost items in just a couple of hours.

These changes will make character progression smoother, allowing players to spend more time on active gameplay and pursuing long-term goals.

We’re continuing to improve matchmaking in #TarkovArena. With Update 0.5.2.2, we’ve optimized the match connection process, making it faster to get into the game.

Matchmaking improvements:

● Match persistence during loading.
If a player disconnects while loading into a server, the match will continue for everyone else, and another player may join to fill the vacant slot.

● Join matches already in progress.
Players can now join ongoing matches if there are available slots. This feature is only available during the first few minutes of a match.

These improvements are already available to test in Last Hero and will be rolled out to additional game modes in future updates.

Skier has discovered a vulnerability in the Lab’s security system and plans to strip the facility clean. Information this valuable was never going to stay secret for long, and now all kinds of interested parties are converging on the underground complex - each with their own motives.

However, someone else was already one step ahead: a team of unidentified operatives in black had infiltrated the Lab. What they're searching for remains unknown, but their presence poses a serious threat.

The event's end date will be announced later. Complete the associated tasks to earn a unique achievement.

● To protect your accounts, we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.).
● This is one of the most effective ways to secure your account against unauthorized access. Even if someone obtains your password, logging in without the code from the app will be impossible.

Please set up two-factor authentication as soon as possible.

The Scav mutiny did not survive the chaos that engulfed the outskirts of Tarkov. All their commanders were eliminated, and the remaining members either went into hiding or returned to Fence.

The in-game event "Wild Wild Woods" has concluded.

The max number of PMCs and the spawn time of player Scavs on Woods, as well as the time between Scav raids have been restored to regular values. The penalty for aggression between Scavs is active again. #EscapefromTarkov

Today, we would like to once again explain what TarCoin is and provide more details about how these coins will work.

TarCoin is a new type of in-game currency that will be used exclusively within the Expansion Hub. Using it, you will be able to purchase apparel sets, stash lines, and other items that were previously only available on the official website.

After the Expansion Hub is released, TarCoins will still be obtainable in raid in PvP mode, but several aspects of their functionality will change:
● TarCoins will no longer take up space in your stash. Once a raid is completed, all extracted TarCoins will be automatically converted into your account balance;
● Any TarCoins currently stored in players' stashes will be automatically converted when the Expansion Hub goes live;
● TarCoins will no longer be tradable on the Flea Market. All active TarCoin listings at the time of the Expansion Hub launch will be removed, and the coins will be automatically converted.

TarCoin packs will be available for purchase through the Expansion Hub, the official website, and Steam. Purchased TarCoins will be credited directly to your account balance immediately after purchase.
