On 12/28, Audubon Society from Rapid City came out to the park to collect the '21 Christmas Bird Count. It was chilly, starting at 3 degrees, but warmed up to the 20s. This year was very slow and counted 25 species. Thank you to all who came out!

Today's advice is don't look down! Bighorn sheep can scramble up the highest formations here in the park, but we wouldn't recommend trying the same thing! While Badlands National Park is an open hike park, but still keep safety in mind.
