The Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) is a dynamic public agency with the overall responsibility of attracting investments into the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Bahrain EDB supported by #TeamBahrain has yet again attracted a remarkable record level of investments valued over $1.8bn in 2024. Stemming from 99 local & international projects, the investments are projected to generate over 7,400 employment opportunities over a 3-year period.
In the presence of H.E. Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, EDB's management team and employees participated in signing a declaration of loyalty and allegiance dedicated to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

As part of the five-day roadshow, Bahrain EDB, in collaboration with CCIG - Chambre de commerce, d'industrie et des services de Genève, hosted a Market Focus session on Bahrain. The session brought together multi-sector C-suite leaders and decision-makers to explore opportunities for investment and expansion in the Kingdom. The discussion also highlighted Bahrain’s position as a strategic gateway and competitive platform for doing business across the region.
Continuing the five-day roadshow, Bahrain EDB hosted a roundtable discussion in Zurich, Switzerland. The session brought together C-suite leaders from the crypto industry alongside corporate decision-makers from the financial services sector to exchange insights and explore opportunities for collaboration. The discussion highlighted Bahrain’s strengths across the financial services sector, while reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a strategic gateway and competitive platform for doing business in the region.
