Interesting weekend coming up. I hope everybody stays safe.

Southern Alberta stays dry as snow and dangerously cold weather hit the eastern prairies this week. The province by province day to day outlook is at Rural Roots Canada. Stay warm, stay safe, stay up to date.. The cold, hard facts: https://t.co/ah5yIBKz1h

How did I miss this?

Back on June 18, 2025, Goldy Hyder, President and CEO of the Business Council of Canada (BCC), delivered a powerful testimony before the Canadian Senate. He represents 170 businesses in Canada, that employ more than 2 million Canadians, and account for roughly 50% of the country's GDP.

He didn’t mince words. Canada is failing big time.

@HouckisPokisewx @CTVdavidspence @BadWeatherKyle It’s a solid 20 down here at Little Bow Resort. Just finished bird hunting near Patricia. Cool mornings. Bright and hot afternoons. Very little wind to speak of.

@BadWeatherKyle @HouckisPokisewx @CTVdavidspence Can’t believe we were golfing just a few days ago below Rundle Mountain. We could probably still golf out at Duchess.

@CTVdavidspence @BadWeatherKyle @HouckisPokisewx This is nuts at this time of the year. A proper temperature reading is 25.1 wins is 00. Little Bow Resort.

Proud to stand with law-abiding gun owners in Cape Breton — people who are not only safe and responsible with firearms, but who are also stewards of conservation and our outdoor heritage.

As Liberals target lawful hunters, farmers, and sport shooters, Conservatives will focus on the real problem:

A decade of Liberal hug-a-thug catch-and-release laws that let violent criminals and gangs cycle back onto our once-safe streets.

@BadWeatherKyle @HouckisPokisewx @CTVdavidspence @paul_dunphy @MichaelDubron. In my 62 years on this planet, I do not remember such a nice September. +28C in the shade at 18:00. Traverse Reservoir.

@BadWeatherKyle @HouckisPokisewx @CTVdavidspence. Wilson waiting for Duck season. It will be at least 3 weeks. Little Bow on Travers.

[Mike J Geisler @Banfffire]

@HouckisPokisewx @BadWeatherKyle @CTVdavidspence that is 91% at 20:11 Travers Dam.

[Mike J Geisler @Banfffire]

@HouckisPokisewx @CTVdavidspence @BadWeatherKyle Well if that’s my Sun today at Little Bow. I probably won’t see my 84% moon.

[Mike J Geisler @Banfffire]

@HouckisPokisewx Thanks. I see that you post that quite often and I didn’t know what it meant. Also the hook of the storm is that where tornado usually comes from. They seem to be always going from the southwest to the north east.

[Mike J Geisler @Banfffire]

@HouckisPokisewx @LostInSk. I’m not a good photographer. But this is looking North towards Lomond.
