Funny how Salah hasn't said a single word about the refs, VAR, or FIFA after the match. Just like no Cape Verde player complained after theirs.

Yet the same accounts flooding the timeline with "the World Cup is rigged for Argentina" were completely silent when Modrić openly claimed that VAR and the referees were favouring Portugal.

That tells you everything you need to know. This outrage isn't genuine, it's manufactured. Either by people deliberately pushing an agenda, or new "soccer" fans who've jumped on the latest bandwagon.

Cape Verde btw, wow. Just wow. The story of the entire group stages for me.

Unbeaten in a group where no one could see them finishing anywhere but last. Largely positive in their style, it felt like they enjoyed every second of being in the World Cup.

🚨 When the players went back to the locker room, and Fede Valverde kept accusing Tchouaméni of leaking to the press, Tchouaméni went up to him, and calmly told him that he needs to stop with the accusations, and that they need to make PEACE.

But Valverde REFUSED to stop and kept going.

When he kept going, Tchouaméni threw a HEAVY PUNCH at Valverde's face, immediately dropping him to the floor, where he hit his head and cut it.

The reason we were so poor in the 2nd half vs PSG and pretty much the whole match tonight is because Flick doesn't make any changes to our build up when are up against a very aggressive man-to-man press.

We continue relying on Pedri & Frenkie even when they're clearly being targeted.

No wingers shifting inside to create superiority, no striker dropping to support, no going long & focusing on winning 2nd balls, minimal going directly in behind for the wingers, even when we bypass the press with passes from the CBs straight to Lewandowski/Olmo, there's little to no support from the wingers who tend to stay wide.

It's just more of the same.
