"#Spellbound!" by @SMWSUK is an 11yo Islay #whisky produced at #CaolIla distillery & bottled at 56.5% ABV after 7 years in a hogshead + another 4 years in an Oloroso butt. It's a magical dram! ✨

This here #whisky comes from the #BrugseWhiskyCo in #Bruges. It's most distinguishing feature is the fact that it was #matured in a special cask that I had never encountered before: #Naranja (i.e., orange licqueur).

At this year's Hanse Spirit fair, I tried many great #drams at the #ThousandMountains stand. From these, one blew me away more than all the others: a 4yo with a #TawnyPort finish, which was sold as a fair exclusive.

Saeson 1 is #FaryLochan's first NAS #whisky coming in an 0.7 litre bottle & selling for ~80 bucks. The drop comes with an elevated strength of 47% ABV & embodies pretty much all that the #Danish distillery is loved for!

Vintage Distillation 2019 from @GlenWyvis isn't ashamed of its youthfulness at all. Rather, it says loud & proud: "Yes, I’m a young #whisky. But hey, that ain’t a bad thing, I got a ton to offer anyway." 😎

Palo Cortado maturations, unlike Oloroso or PX, aren't all too often seen in the #whisky world. Thus, I am always excited when I hear about a release like #CleyDistillery’s new 4 Years Old with a #PaloCortado finish.
