After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to wind down Basejump as a venture-backed company.

We saw strong early growth, but monetization and fundraising in the current gaming market didn’t come together fast enough to continue responsibly.

Broadside will remain live in a slimmed-down, free-to-play form, with OG assets permanently stored on Arweave. Basejump accounts will stay live until March 1 so users can download VRMs created on the platform.

@WGMeets Broadside will live on - assets pinned to Arweave permanently - the Basejump VRM site / game will all be ported to a new Broadside site so access for Broadsiders will continue. None of them are as strong as all of us.
