The occupation court just decided: My community will be destroyed. I live in Massafer Yatta, Palestine. An unjust 23 year long trial ended today with a verdict of mass eviction. The army can now place us on trucks, 2,400 people, and expel us from our ancient villages, one by one.

Silence is not neutrality. The failure to properly report and hold perpetrators accountable allows this violence to continue.

On Friday, August 21, dozens of settlers entered Hima al-Roush, Sa’ir, accompanied by a masked settlement security guard in military-style clothing. The attack resulted in the killing of 17-year-old Karim Shalaldeh and the serious injury of 71-year-old Samara al-Tarouh.

The settlers then set fire to a house before leaving toward the settlement outpost they had established on the edge of the village about a year ago.

Israeli occupation forces destroyed dozens of Palestinian businesses this morning in the village of Aba, east of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, in preparation for the return of dozens of Israeli Jewish settler families to the nearby Ganim settlement.

Ganim was evacuated and dismantled in 2005 under then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's disengagement plan.

🚨Israel's style of "co-existence" in Jaffa, by War Minister Yoav Gallant:

His father stole a Palestinian home & squatted in it, even though a family was still inside. That family was forced to live with Gallant & share a bathroom & kitchen until Gallant took them to Ramallah & kept the rest of the house.

Gallant is narrating this with pride as some sort of a beautiful kumbaya story.

Yoav Gallant is named after "Operation Yoav"; a major terrorist attack which his father took part in. The operation saw the carpet bombing, ethnic cleansing & full destruction of 30 Palestinian villages, including my own family's village. All the Palestinian inhabitants were loaded on trucks at gunpoint & sent to Gaza.

Gallant was the Israeli war minister that called the very people his father ethnically cleansed to Gaza "Human Animals" & vowed to ban "all food, water, medicine, fuel & electricity" to the population his father caged in this enclave.

Gallant is wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity & war crimes.

Despite the so-called ceasefire in Gaza, civilians continue to pay a heavy price every day.

People are being killed in their homes, in their communities, and while carrying out ordinary acts of daily life - as Israel increases its control of Gaza.

Living conditions remain intolerable & horrific diseases are spreading - with humanitarian operations heavily impeded.
