.@Novamont, con il supporto metodologico di @Deloitte, mette a disposizione dei partner e dei loro clienti un tool per calcolare le emissioni di CO2 dei prodotti in #MaterBi, in linea con le richieste della direttiva #CSRD sulle emissioni di scopo 3 e con quelle della proposta di direttiva sui green claims.

Siamo convinti che fornire dati affidabili e verificabili sui prodotti in Mater-Bi e sulla nostra filiera certificata ISO 14067 ci aiuti a fare la differenza insieme.

Serve un cambio culturale che coinvolga i territori in un progetto comune in grado di includere le diversità e di superare le divisioni. Per la sua storia e natura, il Cluster SPRING può essere un formidabile facilitatore di questa accelerazione.

Il #BioeconomyDay è una giornata importante per parlare del ruolo della #BioeconomiaCircolare come driver di competitività e rigenerazione dei territori, ponte tra economia ed #ecologia e società.

È un’occasione per ricordare il valore strategico delle bioraffinerie per bioprodotti, infrastrutture essenziali della bioeconomia, già realizzate nel nostro Paese e in Europa, con investimenti pionieristici su cui far leva, per accelerare concretamente la transizione ecologica.

In un contesto come quello attuale, questa opportunità non va sprecata, occorre per questo un suo pieno riconoscimento legislativo ora.

La sensibilizzazione della cittadinanza, la disseminazione dei casi studio, nonché il dialogo con i decisori sono tutti elementi essenziali per sbloccare insieme il suo grande potenziale.

A pivotal moment for the industrial evolution and prospects of the bioeconomy: European Commission's Vice-President Margrethe @vestager announced the communication on "Building the future with nature: boosting biotech and bio-manufacturing in Europe".

The Communication aims to unlock the full benefits of #biotechnologies and #biomanufacturing as they are crucial for the competitiveness and modernisation of EU industry, offering high growth and productivity potential.

This achievement has also been made possible thanks to the strong representation of the @CBE_JU and the @biconsortium.
A big thanks to our @Cluster_Spring for the continued effort to guide the Italian bio-based industry through the shaping of the evolving regulatory landscape of the Green Deal.

Yesterday the European Investment Bank Group @EIB launched the Women Climate Leaders Network to leverage women's leadership in the areas of climate action and sustainability.
We all feel the urgency of the transition and the need for a change in step to make it happen now. Indeed, while setting ambitious targets remains crucial, there is a growing recognition that fostering a collaborative approach, long-term vision, and realistic yet challenging goals can propel the transition forward.
The network, with the diversity, depth of experience and ideas it brings, is an interesting think-tank for analyzing how to change direction and make better use of resources by learning to do more with less in all sectors.

It was my pleasure to open the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking @CBE_JU today in Brussels.
Europe has strongly promoted bioeconomy R&D andCBE JU has been crucial in establishing Europe's bio-based industry sector as a global leader with €904 million invested, 13 flagship biorefineries, 161 projects, 157 new materials between bio-based and biodegradable, 11 new bio-based value chains.
It is key not to throw away what has been built.

At the ongoing #COP28 climate conference in Dubai, UN Secretary-General @antonioguterres told delegates that this is the warmest year recorded in human history.

Humans have already transformed more than 70% of the Earth’s land area from its natural state, causing the persistent decline or loss of soil, water, biodiversity and contributing significantly to global warming. Data show that human activities are affecting more than 3.2 billion people, leading to the chilling prediction that about 90% of land will be altered by 2050.

The @FAO reports that 33% of the Earth's soils are already degraded and over 90% could become degraded by 2050.

In a world where man-made mass has exceeded the total weight of biomass, and projections show that this trend is set to more than double by 2060, bioeconomy has become a necessity to address soil degradation.

It is my great pleasure to announce that the transaction announced on 28 April and approved by the regulators has been completed today with the acquisition by #Versalis of the entire share capital of @Novamont.

Together, we will have even more strength to address the urgent challenges of the #ecologicaltransition and to play a key role in the field of chemistry from renewable sources and the circular bioeconomy at national and international levels.

This great result is not only an acknowledgement of the path Novamont set out on over thirty years ago, but also a recognition of the commitment, dedication and results achieved by all the players in our integrated value chain.

As #Europeaninventor2007, it is a great honour for me to join celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the European Patent Convention with the @EPOorg.

I have dedicated my life to building a circular bioeconomy model, transforming a research centre into an industrial platform, @Novamont, which has filed more than 1,500 patents and patent applications bringing to market bioproducts such as @materbi, the first compostable bioplastic, and renewable biochemicals that have already proven to accelerate the green transition.

However, technology alone is not enough: the crucial variable to effect real change has to be a completely new mindset.
