"When you miss a shot and it impacts you in a negative way and it takes you 2 or 3 plays to get over that - you're not wrapped up in really competing for the team."

One mistake isn't the problem. Letting one mistake become five is.

Choose to respond, not react.

"There's a selflessness that takes place. The guy standing next to you has got to be so important to you. You have to have such respect for him."

It's not about you - it's about the team and the people next to you.

The mistake doesn't define you. Your response does.

"You've got to pick yourself up off the mat because it's a game that's imperfect. There's gonna be mistakes that happen all throughout 48 minutes."

That's the reality. Mistakes are inevitable. What matters is how quickly you reset for your team.
