As America turns 250, BCM's answer to that question has been 30 years of stewardship — grants, chaplaincy, and Congregational Wellness across Greater New Orleans.
Happy 4th of July from all of us at #BCM.
Fathers shape families. Families strengthen communities. And strong communities are exactly what Greater New Orleans is built on. Today, we honor dads & father figures who show up every day — in homes, in congregations, and in neighborhoods across our region. Happy Father's Day!
#Juneteenth honors the resilience, faith, and contributions of a people who never stopped believing freedom would come. At #BCM, we serve Greater New Orleans because we believe every person deserves to be seen and strengthened.
Happy Juneteenth.
BCM's chaplaincy team joined 500+ professional chaplains at the Association of Professional Chaplains Annual Conference in New Orleans. BCM served as a sponsor, and VP of Chaplaincy Services Larry Johnson led a workshop on BCM's response to the Bourbon Street terrorist attack.
Meet Julienne Louis-Anderson, BCM's new Education Program Officer. With experience spanning education, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, she's focused on strengthening BCM's investments across the region. Glad to have her on the team!
Welcoming Jocelyn Pinkerton as our Grants Program Officer! A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in public health, crisis response, and advocacy, she previously served in the City of NOLA Health Department's Office of Violence Prevention. Glad to have her on the team

#MemorialDay is more than a long weekend. The freedoms we carry into our communities were paid for by those who gave everything. BCM honors those who lived that commitment fully.
To the families carrying this day: thank you.
