Bone Village was made to sell the BradyGames strategy guide, which I used to have.

It serves no purpose to the story at all. It literally exists for one thing and does not affect the plot in any meaningful way.

Bone Village served ZERO purpose in the OG. It was basically there as a strategy-guide trap to make people buy the BradyGames guide, but of course, being a superfan, you would know that, right? It served ZERO purpose for the story.

Also, I love how people like you complain about there being “too many” minigames, then turn around and go, “WHY CAN’T I BREED CHOCOBOS FOR HOURS?!”

You’re also so dramatic about it. “OMG, it ruined the game!” Like, come on. It’s one optional system being changed or cut, not the collapse of Final Fantasy VII as a concept.
