Everyone's calling the top on AI capex. @CryptoHayes thinks they're dead wrong.
Our very own @BMcGleenon sat down with the Maelstrom founder to break down where this massive build is really heading.
And what did he say about $ZEC and privacy coins? (He's since exited the bag) 👀

Onchain payments are quietly having a breakout moment.
Crypto card payment volume hit a record $833M in May, up 180% YoY, pushing cumulative volume above $9B for the first time.
Optimism and Solana are now capturing more of that activity, while apps like Jupiter Spend are pushing QR-based payments into everyday use.
The casino is still loud.
But the payment rails are actually growing.
Cardano is having its worst headline cycle in years.
@IOHK_Charles said he’s “taking a break,” cardano:native fell below $0.20, the Singapore Summit was canceled, and DeFi pressure is rising.
But traders are leaning the other way.
Binance top traders are now over 2.5x long on cardano:native, while weekly RSI hit its most oversold level in Cardano history.
Wintermute says the Bitcoin bottom is not confirmed yet.
The recent bitcoin:native drop was driven more by U.S. institutional selling and ETF outflows than Strategy’s tiny 32 BTC sale.
And the macro setup is not helping:
- hot payrolls
- higher yields
- fading rate-cut hopes are keeping risk assets under pressure.
Some long-term buyers are stepping in, but fresh capital has not returned yet.
So is this real accumulation, or just dip-buying before another leg lower?
Which one are you watching this week, $BEAT, near:native, or ethereum:0xde4ee8057785a7e8e800db58f9784845a5c2cbd6? 👇

3 ALTCOINS to watch this week 👀
All three posted double-digit gains and are now testing major resistance zones:
1. $BEAT
2. near:native
3. ethereum:0xde4ee8057785a7e8e800db58f9784845a5c2cbd6
Here’s why they’re on our radar 🧵👇
3. DeXe - ethereum:0xde4ee8057785a7e8e800db58f9784845a5c2cbd6
ethereum:0xde4ee8057785a7e8e800db58f9784845a5c2cbd6 is testing resistance near $24 after one of the strongest rallies among mid-cap altcoins.
The trend remains intact, but volume has been fading as price moves higher.
A break above $24 extends the move. Rejection could trigger a pullback toward support.
CZ picked an interesting moment to say Bitcoin “won’t be dead for too long.”
bitcoin:native is back below $61.5K, down more than 8% this week, while the market stays under pressure.
Still, $60K is holding for now, and momentum is showing early recovery signals.
Bear trap, or one more flush below $60K?
This is the crypto-politics chart everyone will argue about.
A @Reuters investigation found Trump family-linked crypto ventures made an estimated $2.3B, while investors lost roughly the same amount.
From World Liberty to solana:6p6xgHyF7AeE6TZkSmFsko444wqoP15icUSqi2jfGiPN , the setup was simple: the brand won first.
Retail found out later.
Is this just high-risk crypto speculation, or the clearest conflict-of-interest story in the industry? 👀
BlackRock’s latest crypto move is worth watching.
It sold 3,671 bitcoin:native and bought 10,566 ethereum:native , according to on-chain data.
The timing stands out: Bitcoin and Ethereum are both under pressure, but BlackRock still added ETH exposure.
Not panic.
More like positioning.
AI is getting out of hand? 👀
In one US court case, lawyers for both the plaintiff and the defendant submitted AI-generated briefs with fake case citations.
Now four lawyers have been sanctioned.
The court handed out fines, disqualifications, and two-year bans for lead counsel.
AI may write fast, but the signature still belongs to a human.

Could blockchain replace traditional banking for UN aid?
$SAHARA token crashed nearly 60% today, however the team found no contract exploit and opened an internal investigation.
WHY THE CRASH?
1. FUD related to $H exploit?
2. Volume surged over 200% triggering panic selling
3. Major token unlock of 1.03B SAHARA on June 26
Surprisingly, this plunge comes as AI-coins continue to gain traction.
