Applications are now live for the Lincoln UK Shared Prosperity Fund 25/26 & Investors in Lincoln Community Grants Scheme.

The programme will focus on the theme of 'Healthy, Safe and Inclusive Communities', under 'Inclusive: bringing communities together, tackling homelessness'.

Minimum grant award available is £2,500 with the maximum grant £10,000 in exceptional circumstances - we expect most grants to be below this level.

The project has been made possible by #LotteryPlayers and a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

With partners City of Lincoln Council and funding from the #BeLincoln Town Deal, Pilgrim Trust and The Garfield Weston Foundation.

A major milestone in the Greyfriars restoration has just been reached!

If you've passed by Broadgate recently, you might’ve spotted it - the top half of the East Gable has been beautifully rebuilt, complete with a brand-new pinnacle with intricately carved cross.

In rebuilding the East Gable wall the existing stone has been meticulously re-used to frame the new window tracery.

Keep your eyes on this transformation over the next couple of weeks as the scaffolding comes down and we can see it in all its glory!

@lincolncouncil have supported Alive Church and Bishop Grosseteste University in enhancing the facilities and making the hubs more accessible and welcoming.

These improvements and activities have been made possible by funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

Great progress being made in the Ermine estate this year, as the fantastic Ermine Exchange officially opened this week, offering a new wellbeing hub and coffee house on Sudbrooke Drive ☕️

The Ermine Exchange, ran by Alive Church, will provide residents chances to connect, join groups and clubs, relax with a coffee and much more.

The hub has been part of a project strengthening the community services at both Ermine Library and Sudbrooke Drive Community Centre.

Free and open to all ages, enjoy the student showcase, and find out how you can get involved with the academy at their pop-up stall workshops!

Through UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), @lincolncouncil have helped fund Noise Academy and their outreach sessions in the community.

Noise Academy in Lincoln are dedicated to unlocking the creative potential of young people through music technology.

Students who’ve been through the academy's programmes will be showing off their skills at Cornhill Market on Saturday 24 June, 12pm until 4pm!

The @barbican_hub transforms a vacant Grade II listed building into a space for Lincolnshire’s creative and cultural industries.

The space has gone through a dramatic renovationg, repurposing it into a unique space for Lincolnshire, supported by the #BeLincoln Town Deal funds.

Since Ermine Library and Community Hub opened under @bgulincoln in 2022, the space has become a vital part of residents’ lives.

Funding from the #UKSPF has supported a variety of clubs, activities, and utilities to enhance the hub, catering for all ages.

Works are underway at Greyfriars, with ASBC Heritage & Conservation Specialists contracted to fulfil the restoration. Funders for this £3.3 million project include @HeritageFundM_E, the Be Lincoln Town Deal, @lincolncouncil, Heritage Lincolnshire, Pilgrim Trust and @WestonFdn.
