Bellevue Fire is responding to a fire incident at a commercial building at 14670 NE 8th St. (between 142nd and 148th) Currently, NE 8th St. is fully closed to traffic from the 14500 blk to 148th Ave. as crews battle the blaze. Please avoid the area or find other routes until their work is complete. Firefighters confirmed all building occupants were evacuated. Updates will be shared here. @BvueFD
UPDATE 2: The NB I-405 ramp to EB I-90 in Bellevue remains fully blocked due to an overturned semi. There is no ETA on when the ramp will reopen.

🚧 Road Closure Update: Lake Hills Boulevard 🚧 The closure of Lake Hills Blvd between 151st Ave SE and 154th Ave SE has been extended until Oct. 1.
During construction on the Kelsey Creek Culvert Replacement Project, crews encountered unexpected construction challenges that require additional time to safely complete the work.
Detours will remain in place for:
· Road traffic
· Lake to Lake Trail
· Sidewalk
· Crosswalk
We know this extension may be inconvenient, and we sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we complete this important project to replace aging infrastructure and reduce long-term flood risk.

In response to high fire danger, the King County Fire Chiefs Association is issuing a Burn Ban effective immediately for the entire county. All outdoor fires, including recreational campfires, cooking fires and ceremonial fires, are prohibited until further notice. Gas and charcoal grills are allowed, along with fireplaces and fire tables.
