Jews grow up learning the importance of politics and donating time and money. Both civics and charity are huge in Jewish culture, but we're not self-aggrandizing about it. I wouldn't be surprised if we're funding libraries, art programs, hospitals, charities, and universities at similar rates that we were the Democrats. I mean, I sit on the board of a charity. My parents were always fundraising for politics or charity with people in our synagogue.

There will be consequences in education, arts, healthcare, and politics if American liberalism abandons its Jews. That much is obvious.
