@LaurenWitzkeDE Sorry but my son has autism and sensory needs. Sometimes he has meltdowns in public and sometimes people say things that upset me. But in this circumstance I would be far more apologetic and would at least try to get my son to stop kicking the poor guys chair. Basic manners.
@JShadab1 Sadly it probably comes down to money. Wonder if it’s a deal with insurance companies. Unless the government say no tourists cannot get a refund and must choose to forgo their holiday at loss or go and end up vilified. Personally, I would help out.
@eddieizzard What if I call you Jeff !? 😂 You are sort of the reason my husband and I got together. Watching your DVDs in each others bedrooms at university. We still regularly share a quote. We just look at a cafeteria tray…look at each other and say. “This one is wet!” 🙏 ❤️ 😂 😆
@UberEats after waiting an hour only my DRINKS arrived without the food. The driver said that’s all he picked up from McDonald’s. Called them and they said they packed it and we had to speak to uber. Tried four different numbers and dead ends every time. Disgraceful!
@BraaiKing_Bad They need to WANT to get the job. Think. What do the applicants want. The burnt out or ECTs want reassurance of support and a positive environment. Mention work life balance, behaviour management and all the things that probably made your applicant jump from their last job.
@SchoolsWeek@RishiSunak Majority of my maths knowledge is only used when I’m helping my kids with their homework. If children want to go for a career which involves high level maths - that’s what FE and HE is for. If they are not good at maths that is what resits and key skills are for.
@SchoolsWeek@RishiSunak How many mathematicians do we need? How many carers, nurses and doctors do we need? How much maths with be computerised anyway by the time my kids are 18? Are we being smart when we plan the curriculum? I loved maths but I never have used pi or Pythagoras in any of my jobs. P1
@JamieECT @MrTs_NQTs This was my aim but never could get all planning done and still did 50+ hour weeks. I have two children under 10 and the mum guilt was too much. Worth a try and probably the best approach if you can sustain it. Good luck 😉 the country needs teachers but don’t be a martyr.
@BeeFlownFar@HTPhilRobertson I couldn’t work like that anymore. It wasn’t fair on my family to see me break and have to go into recovery mode for two weeks before I could function as a human being. Just not worth it. Well done for dusting yourself off & getting back in the ring. It’s such an important job.
