Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get ยฃ60,000 a year for driving a train.
But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets ยฃ30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK.
Or the ยฃ250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.

Is there a single person who actually cares if billionaires left the UK because of a wealth tax? If we had no billionaires, society would reorganise itself accordingly (for the better).
OK, real talk.
This is, to my knowledge, the only UK political party that has the courage to explicitly say this.
I know the Greens aren't perfect. I know they have issues. I know a government run by them is likely to face an uphill struggle. I don't agree with them on every policy.
However, they are the only ones that, when push comes to shove, are willing to stand by trans kids and unambiguously acknowledge the atrocious ways they have been failed over the last few years.
The Green party really, genuinely, seems to have gotten itself on track. They've taken sensible stances on Ukraine. They're cautiously earning my trust over their commitment to actively oppose the predations of far right regimes across the world - even though they remain historically wary of NATO, Polanski acknowledges it as a necessary evil in these brutal times in light of the alternatives.
The world's changing. We can't rely on America - and American killswitches - to protect us anymore. Trump is a symptom of a problem that's also threatening our own country and isn't going to magically go away.
All of this stuff is huge - far, far bigger than me. Far greater, better informed minds are far better equipped to analyse the strategic realities involved.
All I know is that there's only one party with the courage to unambiguously commit to looking out for kids in the situation I once was.
And that really does make it quite unambiguous for me. My conscience allows no other course.
There are four years until the next election. Four years to make Zack Polanski - the ONE leader with the courage to pledge, firmly and fully, to stop the horrendous abuse of trans kids - our next Prime Minister. Four years to avert the coming tide of fascism.
We can get there.
We MUST get there.
@VincentRowlatt When I worked at WHSmith we had a few mandatory placements come in - all really competent and good at the job, who should have been offered a real job at the company, not paid for by taxpayers so WHSmith could get free labour
CAR FINANCE DO NOT DO ANYTHING NOW. DO NOT SIGN UP TO A CLAIMS FIRM. PLEASE SHARE.
My suspicion is the FCA will within weeks announce consultation on a redress scheme for discretionary commission cases. You may not even have to claim it ,could be automatic. And with excessive commissions I suspect more guidance will come on that at a similar time.
If you sign up to a claims firm now, you may have to give it a cut even if it does nothing. So just sit on your hands for now.
