Today was the last practical lesson for year 11 as a whole group so we got the pizza oven out. Neapolitan Pizzas! 24-hour slow proofed dough, hand-stretched and cooked at 350ºc. Look at that crust. La pizza perfetta🇮🇹🍕
Year 10 H&C homemade potato gnocchi with fresh tomato sauce - no tins or jars. Just fresh tomatoes (grated), shallots, garlic, olive oil and S&P. Topped with a parmesan crisp.

World Book Day 2022. This was my effort.

Year 10 HAC's challenge today was to make a hollandaise sauce, without splitting it, and serve it as an Eggs Benedict. Some amazing results and definitely restaurant quality.
What a day...
Fish and chips (triple cooked chips, battered haddock, mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce) with year 11s, stir-fry with year 8s, ricotta and spinach Tortelloni with year 10s and saffron risotto with year 12s.
I had my lunch at 18:00 today.
But I love my job.
