In Guernsey, we discussed 🇩🇪🇬🇬 ties - past and present. One year after Biberach & Guernsey signed the Framework of Friendship Arrangement, it's good to see lively exchange between young musicians.

At the German military cemetery I laid a wreath in memory of those buried there.

This week a month-long period of activities & events under the banner of Guernsey Wochen was launched in Biberach, incl. folk music, sea shanties, knitting workshop to reflect island life in its partner town.

It's not easy to get speciality food from GSY in Biberach, so it was an inspired idea to grow some Guernsey toms from seeds instead. The Biberach Friends of Gsy raised the tomato seeds this spring, from packet to pot, and sold out at market!
