The Education Freedom Tax Credit provides more school choice for families nationwide—as long as individual states opt-in.
@LAGovJeffLandry has championed this opportunity, and Louisiana children will benefit. Governors from coast-to-coast should also embrace a better education for America's students.

My Education Freedom Tax Credit that became law under the Working Families Tax Cuts means more opportunity and choices for students and families.
Thanks to @USTreasury and President Trump’s partnership, families will see:
✅ Tax credits for contributions to scholarship organizations ✅ More flexibility for K-12 education expenses for tutoring, tuition, and school supplies ✅ Expanded access to scholarships
Because every child deserves the opportunity to reach their God-given potential!
Today, @USTreasury released new guidelines for the upcoming Education Freedom Tax Credit to maximize accessibility for families and protect scholarship funds from abuse.
This is just one way the Trump Administration is putting more money back in Americans’ pockets and opening more educational pathways for students across the nation!
The Education Freedom Tax Credit creates America’s first nationwide school choice program and allows states to give students and families more options.
This historic program was created through Republicans' Working Families Tax Cuts.
🚨🚨REMINDER: Every Democrat OPPOSED this!
This is HUGE.
At long last, we’re just 90 days away from education freedom becoming a reality nationwide. With thoughtful regulations in place giving clarity, there is no longer any valid excuse for any governor not to support the kids in their state and opt in to this game changing program. Academic achievement and student success are at an all time low. It’s time for meaningful change, and the Education Freedom Tax Credit is what will make change happen!
The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service issued proposed regulations to implement the new Federal Scholarship Tax Credit under section 25F, commonly known as the Education Freedom Tax Credit, the first federal tax credit supporting private contributions for K-12 scholarships.
Under the proposed regulations, eligible taxpayers may claim an annual credit of up to $1,700 for qualifying contributions, or up to $3,400 for married couples filing jointly. Treasury and the IRS also issued companion temporary regulations to establish key procedures for states and Scholarship Granting Organizations to prepare for the launch of the tax credit on January 1, 2027.
The proposed regulations advance the Administration’s priorities of expanding educational freedom, restoring parental rights, returning power to the states, and putting American students first.

Today, the Trump Administration is formally putting into regulation what the law has said all along: Title IX’s protections are based on SEX, not “gender identity.”
I feel so badly for her daughter. And I feel worse for every other student in that school (and those like it) whose parents don't have the ability to free them from it.
Also, for every student who had the 1619 Project shoved down their throats.
Nikole Hannah-Jones believed that it’s unfair that so many black kids are trapped in underperforming New York City schools, and that if she trapped her own daughter in them, she and her husband — with their superior wherewithal — could make the schools better for everyone.
What started as a project motivated by a savior complex ended as essentially an episode of educational Munchausen syndrome by proxy.
Her bright young daughter fell far behind where she could have been academically.
Most parents who are paying attention and who have the means would immediately get a kid out of a school where there are fights during the lunch period, where there is no homework, where the principal and teachers are routinely absent, and where schoolwork isn’t graded — but Nikole Hannah-Jones persisted.
By the time her daughter was old enough to realize what was going on and force her mother to let her apply to better high schools, she didn’t know algebra despite getting excellent grades in math at the subpar schools.
Hannah-Jones should be furious at the adults who failed her daughter so abysmally, but she’s, in effect, still on their side by portraying school choice as a racist scam and complaining about a lack of resources.
The famous line is that a neoconservative is a liberal mugged by reality. The New York City public schools mugged Nikole Hannah-Jones, and yet she still doesn’t want to press charges.

Think of the educational opportunities you could offer your child with $52,000 per year to spend. Then look at the outcomes of this government school and so many others like it.
NEW: We visited PS 307, the failing public school that Nikole Hannah-Jones sent her daughter to.
The teachers make an average of over $100,000 a year. The school spends $52,000 per student each year. The student/teacher ratio is 9 to 1.
We went to another school just down the street that spends less than half of what PS 307 does—yet the academic outcomes are significantly better.
Underfunding and racism aren't causing schools to fail. @DanielDiMartino explains what is:
The stronger the teachers unions, the fewer early literacy reforms states have adopted.
Blue states average just 9 of 18 key literacy policies, compared with 13.5 in red and purple states.
Children’s ability to read should come BEFORE union power.
Good reminder: Even if a state refuses to opt-in to Education Freedom Tax Credits, individual taxpayers across the US can still benefit from the credits.
However, families in those far-left states that don't opt-in won’t have access to education contributions from taxpayers across the country. 👇
Tale as old as time!
They aren't a "teachers union." They're a liberal political organization.
She doesn't care about teachers or education - let alone kids. She cares about power.
🚨WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?🚨
Randi Weingarten’s teachers union just joined the lawsuit to block the @USDOT from accessing CDL database records
They’re choosing ILLEGAL ALIEN bus drivers over your children’s safety

25 Years ago I was honored to play Superman at the Concert for NYC.
Sharing the stage again with our incredible first responders under two light beams soaring to the heavens was sublime.
Our Promise to "Never Forget" is Eternal. God Bless America.🇺🇸❤️👊
On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we honor the 2,977 lives stolen by al-Qaeda terrorists.
Too many college students still cannot name who attacked America —or why.
That is not their failure, It is ours.
Never forget. Never again.
These aren't just tests or data points. These are children's futures being squandered by adults who refuse to change the broken status quo in education.

Every governor in every state should say yes to this opportunity.
Actual headline: the most Michigan third graders EVER - 62% - aren't proficient readers.
After "trying for a decade" and failing miserably, it's time for new leadership and a new approach in Lansing.
Michigan's kids deserve better!
