Javier the founder of WeTKare was born and raised in Madrid 🇪🇸

He started recycling paper ♻️ and glass, but the more he read and informed himself about pollution and climate change, the more he realized that changes needed to happen more urgently! 🌍

.@WeTKare is an eco-friendly and sustainable home cleaning product. WeTKare Multi-Surface and Floor-Cleaner minimize plastic and water waste 💦

1L of Multi-surface provides up to 100 bottles of other cleaners for windows and furniture or up to 50 bottles to clean the kitchen and bathroom among other uses.

To date, their subsidies have eliminated more than 6 million pieces of plastic from landfills and oceans 🌊

They’ve done that by subsidizing the purchase of 14,431 reusable items at 52 restaurants and 5 schools… 🙌

@PlasticFreeEats is a US non-profit that eliminates single-use petroleum-based plastic from restaurants and schools by subsidizing the cost 💲 difference between the plastic they were using and the reusable alternatives they agree to use moving forward.

The possibility of eliminating an entire restaurant’s plastic output for a month with just $350 got the wheels spinning in founder John's head.

From there, he set up a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, recruited a Board of Directors committed to raising funds for this idea!
