Martin started by giving an update on injuries 🚑

It's bad news for Ben Nelson, who has ruptured his ACL and will be out for most of the season ❌

🗣️ "It's really disappointing. Sad for him, sad for us. Our job is to support him through that, make sure he still feels cared for, part of it. We will miss him for sure."

Martin also suggested Nelson's injury could mean they need to look for another centre back in the transfer market.

Leicester City renew their loan from MacQuarie 🧛‍♂️🦘secured on Premier League parachute payments. In most recent accounts this was £50m at 8.3% interest per annum.

As well as the money owed to  Macquarie , Leicester also owed £81m in unpaid transfer fees at 30 June 2025, of which £28m was still due a year later following relegation to League 1.

Whilst Leicester had sold players and instalments due on these, it borrowed a further £61m from Macquarie secured on those payments at an average interest rate of 8.02%.
