Attended the LOCA Intro to Mosi-oa-Tunya Perennial, loved connecting with @maureenlilanda, Zambian songbird @NationalZambia Chair, Esther Ng'ambi, Director of Arts at MYSA and @bflowmusic, President of Zam. Ass. of Musicians.
Such inspiring energy in one room.
Trial for Chester, IDC and Felix was scheduled to start this week. It is reported that Mongu courts are closed till further notice. This means we can't ascertain when the guys will be in court.
Kanabesa,@bflowmusic ,why canโt you organize a simple music fundraising concert for the artists that are serving jail as a result of the injustice system.?
Yours truly,
The only intelligent upnd member.
SONGWE M. CHALWE WRITES A SUGGESTION FOR FUTURE ELECTIONS
"I think, in the next elections
Each presidential candidate and parliamentary candidate should have his or her ballot box, not the "current style" of mixing ballot papers in one box.
Nothing like "your vote is secret " because even after casting secretly, people still talk about who they voted for.
In this case, we won't have invalid ballots because all the ballot papers that will be in that candidate's ballot box will belong to that particular candidate regardless of how a voter marked
And it'll save us from malpractice as each candidate's agents will count what is in the box of the candidate they are representing in full view of ECZ and Police.
Aspiring candidates should not be allowed to vote from the same polling stations as the public."
Have you paid attention to the way Commissioner Ambassador Ndiyoi Mutiti says "two" or "zero" when announcing election results???
Also, when she says "Richard", her accent reminds me of the wife of Richard Bucket from the classic British sitcom "Keeping Up Appearances".
