@SleeperNFL I understand being upset at the defensive lineman but why is he also not upset at his offensive line for letting him get that close in the first place???? That'd be my bigger concern tbh
Reminds me of that Brown's training camp on Hard Knocks a few years ago when Todd Haley yelled out for them to stay away from the quarterback and Greg William shot back "somebody's got to block them"
Tom Brady says he was shocked by Peyton Manning’s breakfast when they worked out: pancakes, bacon, sausages and biscuits with gravy
“I called Peyton. It was the offseason. ‘Let's me and you get together. I've learned from all the other quarterback coaches. Why don't me and you sit down and talk football for three days?’”
“He's like, ‘Let's do it. Come to my place in Tennessee.’ I fly down to Tennessee. We work out together. We play golf together. We ride jet skis together at his house. And we of course are eating meals”
“We sit down for breakfast and they're like, ‘Mr. Brady, what do you want to eat,’ I'm like ‘I'll take oatmeal, two scrambled eggs and that's it’”
“‘Peyton, what do you want?’ He's like, ‘I want biscuits with gravy, three pancakes, six bacons, I want three sausages.’ I'm like, ‘You eat all that shit?’”
“The Southern boy with all the good helpings of comfort food. I don't like the way I’d feel after that. I would be sleeping”

ILB Patrick Queen loves what
the coaches are doing with the Defense: “I’m loving it. You got so much free will now to be able to make changes whenever you see fit. That was the whole thing, this whole offseason talking to the new staff, new coaches. I wanted things to be organized, I wanted things to be detailed. I didn’t want to come and feel like the same things constantly happening where we aren’t sure about this or aren’t sure about that. You get to the game and see guys doing this puts hands in air. It gets aggravating.” #Steelers #NFL
Man, I will never understand how those small rural counties don't have all their vote counted by now. Like good grief. Even if you do have a smaller staff, how long does it take to count a couple hundred votes?
Minkah Fitzpatrick on his biggest regret in Pittsburgh:
"In Pittsburgh I definitely regret the way I handled the situation. When I first got there they just plugged me in at post safety half safety. And I played well there. After awhile quarterbacks aren't going to be throwing you the ball a whole lot And I kind of got pushed into that role. People forgot that what I was known for was my versatility and doing different things. I'm a good football player so no matter where you put me on the field I'm going to be a good football player. But I think where my capabilities are maximized is when I could do different things."

Remembering #Steelers WR Coach Darryl Drake, who passed away 7 years ago today from a heart attack while in #Steelers training camp.
Ray Sherman on Coach Darryl Drake:
"When Darryl passed away, he, I and James Daniels were all living in the same suite together. We used to all meet in the morning for breakfast and talk before our 8 am meetings.
Well, James and I were at breakfast talking and we were wondering where Darryl was. He should have been there by then. We called up to the room but there was no response, so we went up to the room. When we went in, James found him and told me Darryl wasn’t responding to him. He called the trainers and I went to tell Coach Tomlin. I told him Darryl wasn’t responding and he said “What?!” I told him again and he went up – the trainers were there trying to revive him and then the paramedics came, but they couldn’t revive him."
