It's cool, I think it's rare to see this kind of modern chinese DTV where the MC has a distinct fighting style.

Film got a lot of love during its festival rounds especially at @bigbadfilmfest this past August. With veteran stunt performers and choreographers in the industry out in Indonesia from the likes of Yandi Sutisna, Erik Rukmana, and Rama Ramadhan.

Expect to see that brutal violence that Indonesia Martial Arts Action films are known for. Considering the director has done horror films as well you see some good gore here.

The lead actress, Livi Ciananta had a very good martial arts debut in the film "Bonnie 2024" a few years ago and was curious if she will do more action since her first few outings have been horror films.

So, it was a joy to see her again in this film. The story might drag a little for some, but the action makes up for it and is just a fun overall film.

"welcoming" is a key word here for me - I keep thinking about how I've encountered a lot of bizarre cliquish energy from full grown adults in the general film world that just doesn't seem to exist in the action community, and that feels especially true of Big Bad.
